ACCOUNT DELETION POLICY

Effective Date: June 8, 2026

Duck Stop Travel Center (“Duck Stop,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your right to control your personal information.

This Account Deletion Policy explains how users of Duck Stop Pro may request deletion of their account, what information may be deleted, what information may be retained, and how account deletion affects rewards, transportation history, and other Services.

This Policy should be read together with the Duck Stop Pro Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

1. Requesting Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your Duck Stop Pro account at any time.

Account deletion requests may be initiated through:

In-App Request

Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account

or

Email Request

Subject Line: Account Deletion Request

For security purposes, Duck Stop may require identity verification before processing any deletion request.

2. What Happens When an Account Is Deleted

Once a deletion request has been approved and processed:

Your Duck Stop Pro account will be deactivated;
Login access will be removed;
Profile information will be removed from active systems where applicable;
Loyalty program participation will end;
Transportation service access will end;
Mobile application account functionality will be disabled.

Account deletion is generally permanent and may not be reversed.

3. Loyalty Points and Rewards

Upon account deletion:

Unused points may be forfeited;
Unredeemed rewards may be forfeited;
Digital coupons may be canceled;
Promotional offers may become unavailable;
Loyalty program membership may terminate immediately.

Deleted accounts generally cannot be restored to recover rewards, points, or offers.

4. Transportation Service Information

If you have used transportation or pickup services through Duck Stop Pro:

Transportation requests may remain in archived operational systems;
Driver assignment records may be retained;
Ride activity logs may be retained;
Safety-related records may be retained.

Such records may be maintained for safety, insurance, legal, fraud prevention, training, operational, and compliance purposes.

5. Location Information

Upon account deletion:

Active location sharing will stop;
Future location collection associated with your account will cease;
Certain historical location records associated with transportation services may be retained where necessary for operational, legal, safety, or fraud prevention purposes.

Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the records.

6. Information We Delete

Subject to legal and operational requirements, Duck Stop will make reasonable efforts to delete or anonymize information such as:

Name
Email address
Phone number
Marketing preferences
Profile information
Authentication credentials
Device identifiers linked to the account
Non-essential account data

Deletion may occur immediately or over time as systems synchronize.

7. Information We May Retain

Certain information may be retained after account deletion where permitted or required by law.

Examples include:

Purchase history
Transaction records
Rewards activity records
Transportation service records
Fraud prevention records
Security logs
Audit logs
Accounting records
Tax records
Legal compliance records
Customer support records
Records required to enforce agreements

Retained information will only be maintained for legitimate business, legal, security, operational, or regulatory purposes.

8. Backup Systems

Information scheduled for deletion may continue to exist within encrypted backup systems for a limited period.

Backup copies:

Are not actively used;
Are protected by security controls;
Are removed through normal backup retention cycles.

9. Fraud Prevention and Security

Duck Stop may retain information necessary to:

Detect fraud;
Investigate abuse;
Resolve disputes;
Enforce legal rights;
Protect customers;
Protect employees;
Protect transportation operations;
Comply with legal obligations.

10. Processing Time

Duck Stop generally processes deletion requests within thirty (30) days.

Additional time may be required when necessary to:

Verify identity;
Investigate fraud concerns;
Complete technical processing;
Comply with legal obligations.

11. Re-Registration

After account deletion, you may create a new Duck Stop Pro account.

However:

Prior rewards may not be restored;
Prior points may not be restored;
Prior offers may not be restored;
Prior account history may not be available.

A newly created account may be treated as a new membership.

12. Requests Made by Authorized Representatives

Where permitted by law, authorized representatives may submit deletion requests on behalf of another individual.

Duck Stop may require documentation sufficient to verify both:

The identity of the account holder; and
The authority of the representative.

13. California and Other State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain states may have additional rights regarding deletion requests and personal information.

14. Changes to This Policy

Duck Stop may update this Account Deletion Policy from time to time.

Changes become effective upon posting within the Services or website.
